Our participant members are starting over in life. They have very few possessions.
Our goal is to send our members on their new journey with as much support as possible.
No item is too small or irrelevant.

Special Gifts Program

Gift cards and monetary donations made to the center are vital. Members who come to us need resources to pay for identification, bus fare, a haircut; training fees for WHMIS, 1st Aid, criminal record checks. We also support them completely until an income source is established. Please visit our donation page.

Education & Learning Program

Donations of desktops, laptops, printers, phones, cameras, tablets, TV sets, Roku or Chromecast, any electronics; tools, trades equipment, PPE.

For use at the center and donated to members moving out and in need of tools or electronics, for school or work.

Homestead Program

Receiving gifts of furniture, small appliances, kitchenware, dinnerware, bakeware, bed & bath linens, lamps, wall art, accessories, arts & crafts supplies. Just about anything.

New Me Program

Donations of new and used clothing: Leisure, winter, work, business, healthcare uniforms, casual, footwear, baby items, pet items, new undergarments.

Rent & Utilities Relief Fund

A special fund that members can apply to for assistance to meet apartment rental requirements: 1st and last month rent, security deposit, one-time late rent relief. Members can repay the center with volunteer hours.

Food & Toiletries Program

Dried goods & non-perishables: pasta, rice, breakfast cereal, oatmeal, dried fruit and nuts; flour, sugar, honey, soups, sauces, spices, canned goods, tissue, paper products, hair & skin products, women’s products, pet supplies, fresh produce.

Rooms for Students​

Future program connecting youth with safe long-term room & board, shared accommodation, and other rentals. The objective is to promote our Essential Life Skills program with potential landlords and homeowners who have rental space available.
